The dynamics of the disciplinary structure of scientific research in the post-Soviet countries over the course of 30 years is analysed. The analysis shows that there are significant differences between the post-Soviet countries in the degree of specialisation/diversification of the disciplinary structure of scientific research. Countries that have fundamentally reformed their academic systems (Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, and Kazakhstan) have the most diversified disciplinary profile. In the other countries, the structure of scientific research remains specialised, and in most of them it has decreased over time. All countries surveyed specialise in physics, but the share of publications in social sciences and humanities is also increasing.", keywords = "post-Soviet countries, disciplinary structure of science, disciplinary profile, scientific specialization", author = "Andrey Lovakov", year = "2023", doi = "10.55835/643ea0a69ad1e8f3e5ab2f1a", language = "English", url = "https://dapp.orvium.io/deposits/643ea0a69ad1e8f3e5ab2f1a/view", }
