Dr. Sigifredo Castell Britton is an accomplished criminal justice expert and educator with over thirty years of experience dedicated to social change, rehabilitation, and educational development. Holding a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice and a master’s in Educational Psychology, he is renowned for his contributions to prison education, recidivism reduction, and culturally responsive rehabilitation models. As the founder of IMPACT, an international foundation focused on transforming justice systems, Dr. Castell Britton is committed to supporting community reintegration and social equity for ex-offenders. His research explores critical issues in criminal justice and education, including studies on prison education, restorative justice, and the effectiveness of culturally tailored rehabilitation. His published works include Empowering Change Through Raizal Perspectives on Prison Education in San Andres Island and The Effectiveness of Prison Education in Reducing Criminal Recidivism.
