Abstract This practical exercise aims to consolidate knowledge on the design and implementation of PID controllers in dynamic systems, using Matlab as a simulation tool. Through a theoretical-practical approach, it seeks to apply fundamental concepts of digital control while fostering teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration, essential skills in the engineering profession. Participants worked in a simulated environment that replicates the challenges of real-world projects, integrating technical solutions and collaborative strategies to address complex problems. By the end of the exercise, participants achieved a deeper understanding of digital control principles and key skills in using advanced technological tools, preparing them to tackle challenges in real professional settings.
