Hybrid learning has proven to be effective in promoting active learning, especially after Covid-19 pandemic. However, its popularity in higher education settings remains limited. This descriptive research investigates faculty perspectives on the application of hybrid learning in higher education. The researchers collected responses on a questionnaire from 81 faculty members from higher education institutions in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to explore their perspectives on hybrid learning approach. The study investigates how faculty adopt their teaching and assessment strategies, examines its impact on student motivation, engagement and academic performance, investigates the correlation between years of experience and the application of hybrid learning. Qualitative data collected from the questionnaire analysed using coding techniques in NVivo software. Quantitative data collected was analyzed using Microsoft Excel. The study acknowledged that hybrid learning support student-centered method, such a widening of perspective when learning takes place and thus improving learning outcomes for students who commit to their studies. A key finding of the study highlights the positive effects hybrid learning has on self-learning, independence, and critical thinking. This research contributes to understanding faculty perspectives on hybrid learning in higher education and provides insights into the potential benefits and implications of integrating this learning approach.
