Abstract

The discussions around the benefits of implementing artificial intelligence or AI have been quite lively today. AI has been benefiting organizations with increased efficiencies, enhanced decision-making, cost reductions, and improved consumer experiences. Rather, it has been opening newer opportunities day by day. However, AI implementation across organizations has never been an easy job. The contribution of AI in strategic change management within organizations, however, is meeting several challenges. Employees within an organization resist technological adaptations due to the fear of losing their jobs. Some are under the threat that they are unfamiliar with the technology, and this could severely impact their growth in the organization. A few challenges are ethical and privacy concerns, integrating AI with the current organizational system, skill gaps, and understanding what its capabilities and limitations are. In this paper, the researchers discuss AI’s role in driving strategic change management. They are curious to understand how AI entered the organizational realm and is driving an impressive change in management culture. The researchers of this present study believe that this piece of work will serve as a basis for the upcoming researchers in understanding how AI is supporting ethical and sustainable organizational practices.
